Close-up view of the ovary composed of four one-seeded nutlets. The simple (unbranched style) arises from the gynobase rather than from the apex of the ovary. It is appropriately called a gynobasic style. The calyx is covered by glistening, sharp-pointed, bristly hairs (trichomes).
