Autumn In Denali National Park

Fall colors in the following images are primarily from three species of deciduous trees:  Balsam
poplar (Populus balsamifera), quaking aspen (P. tremuloides), and paper birch (Betula papyrifera).
Another species called dwarf birch (Betula nana) produces the reddish coloration of the tundra.
