Some Plants Of Denali National Park

Alpine harebell (Campanula lasiocarpa) in the Denali tundra.


Balsam poplar (Populus balsamifera).


Quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides).


Paper birch (Betula payrifera).


Dwarf birch (Betula nana). Very common throughout the Denali tundra.


Blueberry (Vaccinium uliginosum). Very common throughout the Denali tundra.


Most of the conifers in Denali National Park are white spruce (Picea glauca). Black spruce (P. mariana)
is a smaller tree that typically grows in marshes and bogs. There may be black spruce in the foeground.


Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium). The many seeds have tufts of fine hairs and float into the wind.
