Striped whiptail (probably Cnemidophorous uniparens).

Bee assasin (Apiomerus flaviventris). Shortly before this picture was taken, a hungry whiptail lizard approached this bug for a meal, but suddendly stopped and turned away. Apparently, the bright coloration discouraged the larger reptilian predator.
