Biology 100 Laboratory Manual is required for this course. Do not buy used copies at the off-campus
bookstore because pages may be missing.  Textbook by S. Mader is recommended but is not required.

A number of quizzes & several exams will be given during lab. Quizzes generally count
about 150 points each and exams are worth 300 points.  The total possible points at the

LECTURE UNITS:

  I. Cell Structure & Function--incl. basic biochemistry and
cellular physiology of major plant and animal systems.
II. Molecular & Mendelian Genetics and Immunology.
III. Ecology, Evolution and Diversity of Plants & Animals.
